The collection was created during the last months of my pregnancy with my first baby. The similarities between these two creation processes has brought me so much awe and gratefulness for life and the creative force that makes it even possible for us to walk here on this earth.

For me, Finding Grace holds the meaning of finding peace and trust during a journey that is beyond all logical control of the human mind. To have the courage to lean back and trust there is a higher power that is lovingly guiding me into the unknown.

Every painting, and the collection as a whole, has thought me to allow everything to have its own timing. I am exactly where I am supposed to be. With one hand on my belly and the other one holding the paint brush, I’ve taken many deep breaths and asked grace to show me the next step forward.

Earthy colors, sweeping movements towards the heavens and details in shining gold goes through the whole collection. The calming tones and organic movements have helped me to feel more held and supported during this deeply transformative and blessed time.

I wholeheartedly wish that these paintings will be able to support you in the way you need right now on your unique journey. They are just waiting to spread their love, calmness and grace in the homes they’re meant to live in.
